I missed you!

Today we picked up MAC at a half way point in Virginia.  She spent the week with her grandparents and had a great time at a therapeutic horse camp.  It was 2 hours a day for 4 days.  She has always had a way with animals and this time was no different, she really like the horses and they really liked her.  The hope was that she would get to know the horses and the teachers than next year she would be able to take the longer 3 hour course.  At the end of the week the camp said yes, next year she could come back for the regular camp.

With so much extra free time she was able to spend a lot of time with her grandparents.  Mom and Dad have a pontoon boat and a tube.  She got on the tube for the first time at the beginning of the summer and after a week of being able to hang on and not fall off she said today that it is a little boring now.  I just had to smile at that.

The three of them went out on the boat several times and apparently by the end she was able to drive the boat for a little while.

I am so glad that she had a great week with her grand parents but it feels good to have her home.  We spent the afternoon playing with her ferret and just sitting together.  When I got up to go upstairs she said, " I'm glad to be home, I really missed you guys."
