We got the phone call early today. MAC and Hubby got the automated call from the school system saying that although not all the schools had power tomorrow would be a school day. MAC was disappointed. I tried to explain that while she might be having fun today each day off, if there are any snow day days all of these days will be added to the end of the school year. She wasn't so happy with that.
I asked her to do two things today while she was home: clean the ferret cage and fill the water filter pitcher. Amazingly both were done. I did have to ask her to re-clean the cage. She wasn't happy but did it, and I think the fur ball is much happier.
It has been a nice few days for her and I know she'll be excited to find out that she'll have next Monday off as well, but I am glad that school will be back in session tomorrow.
