And the newest thing going through schools: The stomach flu! Yes phone call number 3, "Mrs Campbell could you please come and get MAC? She threw up and can not stay in school." I tried to call Hubby but he was sleeping so I went and picked her up. Right before I left I did get an e-mail that some hats that I had ordered were done so at least on the way back to work (wow what a wonderful lunch it was) I was able to turn it into a "work thing".
When I picked her up from school I was told that several other children had gone home not feeling well. The nurse also made it a point to tell me that she really didn't feel that this had anything to do with the other issues and that she felt MAC was authentically not feeling well. MAC walked to the car, put on her sunglasses, and sat back in the seat trying to take a nap. When we got home she headed up to her room, and I headed back to work.
The afternoon flew by and around 5pm I finally left the office. When I got home she was awake and hungry. She had some soup for dinner and then decided that she wanted a fruit cup, then another. For desert she had the last of the apple jacks. Now I can only hope that it all stays down! Protect yourselves: wash your hands often and wipe remote controls down with anti-bacterial wipes.
