For something we were really looking forward to, the RenFest was a bit disappointing. MAC was ready by 8 and we were able to pick up her friend right on time today. We were able to park in the employee parking and they went to get tickets. That was the last I saw of them for 2 hours!
I really enjoyed working at Goodly Woods. My boss is great and my co-worker is fun. We get to hear several of my favorite shows but while I was getting into the swing of things Hubby, MAC, and the friend were shopping.
Can I just say, if there is one thing Hubby hates more than my feeding him french fries, it is shopping of any kind. He wanted to see some of the shows: The Rogues, The Pyrates Royal, Shakespear Skum. The girls didn't want to see any of the shows and were so focused on going from store to store that they didn't see how upset Hubby was getting. By the time I mentioned to MAC that it was about time they did something other than shop, people were not in good moods.
The end of the afternoon was spent finding some food and finding a new feather for Hubby's hat. The girls were ready to go and so we left around 5ish. We took MAC's friend home and then went home. Now we are all doing our own thing: MAC is watching TV, I'm here blogging, and Hubby is trying to play his online game (the modem is not cooperating).
So was today a windshield or a bug day? I'm not sure, I had fun but it sure seems as if the rest of my family didn't.
