Lunch

Ok, so it is not the most interesting of titles but this was one of the best lunches I have had. My mother is back in the area and had taken MAC out to do a little school shopping (I just love the rainbow socks)! When the discussion came to lunch MAC said that she would like to meet me for lunch. We decided on Chick-fil-a.


I don't know if you have ever been to a Chick-fil-a but they have the best chicken sandwiches around. And to top it all off, I even had a coupon. I got their new spicy chicken sandwich and a diet lemonade. The waffle fries are just to die for, and so of course I got some with my meal. MAC used the coupon and got a chicken nugget kids meal.

She isn't really a "kid" any more but she has been finding that sometimes she is really not that hungry. I think today she wasn't quite so interested in eating as she had been in going to the bookstore after the clothes shopping.

Mom was healthful and got a grilled chicken sandwich and cole slaw. We discussed the upcoming family trip next February and the potential for MAC to go to Mom and Dad's Virginia house next week.

While lunch was not exciting because of where we went, it was exciting because we went together and had some nice conversation. We ordered our meals, we sat down at a table, we ate and talked like a normal family. It was lunch.
