This morning we got a phone call from my mother in law. She was reminding us of our nephews birthday party this afternoon. Of course this would have been a reminder if I had known about it in the first place! Hubby went to help them move about 5 weeks ago and was told about the party. He said he would put it on the calendar. After moving 3 bedrooms worth of furniture and a living room he forgot.
MAC and I were going to go grocery shopping but went to Target in Glen Burnie to get a gift and wrapping right before the party. She and I met everyone at the North Arundel Aquatic Center for the party. As usual MAC was the oldest child there. It didn't matter, she had a wonderful time. Although the kids at the party were younger she was able to relate to them and they to her. There was a lot of laughing and a whole lot of splashing. It was great!
She had the best day today in over three weeks. After the party we still went to the grocery store and we had a quick trip to Michael's because she has figured out what she wants to be for Halloween. No she doesn't go trick or treating anymore, but she likes to be dressed up when she passes out candy. She has earned an extra 3 buttons today. YEAH MAC!
