Planning

All week long I have been waiting for today. Friday. The end of the work week. To be more specific I have been waiting for about 8pm on Friday. No there's nothing in particular on TV that I want to watch, nor is there a movie I am planning on seeing. It is just that Friday around 8 is when I usually let the work week go and begin to think about the weekend.

Of course I plan the weekend. Last week we needed to:
1) finish the school supply shopping,
2) grocery shopping,
3) I was dying for some really good bacon (to make BLT's),
4) and then cleaning off the tables.

The extra 7 hours of sleep on Saturday made getting everything done a little harder. (The tables did not get cleaned.) This weekend we need to:
1) pick MAC up from her grandparents,
2) grocery shop
3) and get her back pack ready for school on Tuesday.

Nothing drives Hubby and MAC crazier than my planning. They really want to be able to "just do whatever".  The problem is that "whatever" means something usually gets forgotten.

Next week, we are going on a three day camping trip. We do one family camping trip each year with a friend of mine from college. She and her family and the three of us meet for a weekend every summer and just get away. I have to start the planning process for what we need to pack and get ready. Last year we were very lucky, and our camp site was only 45 minutes away from our house. Even with my planning we left several needed items at home and Hubby had to run back and get them.

This year we need to have everything packed because we will not be near the house or too near a place to get something we might have left.

Ok, so lets start the list:
1) Tent
2) Clothes for 3 days for each of us
3) Swim suits, towels, and sunscreen…
