Some days you're the windshield...

This was one of those days when the moon must have been in the right house because it was wonderful!

I called MAC from work today and she spoke to me in a civil tone. She answered all my questions, and even made plans to meet her Grandmother tomorrow.

I called from the road on my way home to make sure she was dressed appropriately for our evening at the Baysox. She answered all my questions in a nice tone and was ready to go when I opened the door. Dinner was great, she ate all of her meal and even had lemonade since she wanted soda at the game. We got to the game at 5:45 and waited for her friend and his family. She was slightly impatient but did not go into a meltdown.

We made it through the entire game without an incident. Between her friend’s family and the two of us we spilled 5 sodas but by the 3rd one all we could do was laugh. The kids played at the play park and we even had some ice cream. The Baysox lost but the fireworks were worth the wait. And she did wait tonight.

We waited to get in to the game, we waited for the game to start, we waited in line for the soda, we waited in line at the play park, we waited in line for ice cream, and we waited for the end of the game to be able to see the fireworks. She did an awesome job being a friend and I was so proud of her! After the last two days, today felt great.
