Best Intentions

Have you ever done something that you thought was going to be something fun and then it turned into a total disaster?  That was my Sunday.

I came home from a disappointing Saturday evening and thought that a movie with the family would be something fun.  MAC had been begging to see a movie since Thursday evening and Puss in Boots has been out for two weeks now.  I am a big one for trying to do a few things when we are out, to maximize our gas usage.  We bought our tickets, MAC asked to see it in 3D and we agreed to do so.  We were at the mall almost an hour earlier than the movie so we walked the length trying to find a place where I could get a watch battery replaced and a few links taken out of the band.  There was only one place we found and for those two services it was going to cost me close to $50!  Needless to say, the watch is still a little big and not running.

We saw the movie, it was cute, not as fasted paced as the Shrek movies were but MAC enjoyed it.  We had had a large breakfast so had decided not to get any overpriced movie theater food.  MAC was disappointed that we wouldn't get her a soda.

After the movie, I needed a new pair of headphones for my iPod and we stopped at the Best Buy to get a set (hopefully on sale).  MAC went "looking" in the DS game section.  When we told her we would not buy a game for her she was very upset, which in turn made Hubby upset.  The car ride home was the quietest she has been in several weeks.

I am hoping that this will be a good week for MAC.  I think the extra sleep in the morning helps a little!
