It takes 21 days to form a new habit. I have been trying to have MAC get into the habit of doing homework as soon as she gets home. It has been a little hard to enforce because she would get to the house and no one would be available to make sure it was done before the TV went on.
As of today Hubby starts on the day shift and actually gets to meet MAC at the bus stop. He was able to make sure that the homework was done. 21 days. I look forward to the end of the month when this has become a habit. Hopefully she will be able to take notes and get her binder in order next!
