Marathon Weekend

As usual these days this weekend went by in a flash.  So much to do, so little time.  Friday was IOP and MAC and Hubby didn't get home until well after 7:45.  We had dinner and then she went upstairs to play with Yuki, the pet ferret.

Saturday was another PVA day.  MAC and I got to the school around 9:00am and we headed downtown on the bus at 10:00am.  The Cherry Blossom parade started at 10 and we got to the parade ground around 10:40am.  It was really crowded!  MAC and I were part of a group of 6.  I got to be the adult in charge and we moved 3 times trying to find a place where all the kids could see.  We never did find that spot.  We left the parade and headed for the Sakura Festival.  The school had purchased us tickets.  The food smelled really good and when we got there all of our stomachs were growling.

We sat down in the middle of the road and ate our lunches.  It was amazing how many anime/Otaku people were around.  The biggest problem was that no one in the group had brought any money.  After smelling all the food and seeing the shops we headed to the Natural History Museum.  We were able to get warm before we headed back to the bus.

Today was a busy day at church where after the 9am service MAC went to Sunday School and then she ran the Kids Own Worship.  We came home for a quick lunch and then went to have her picture taken by Angel Kidwell.  I haven't heard MAC laugh as much as I heard today in a very long time.  If you ever need a photographer I highly recommend her:  http://angelkidwellphotography.com/contact_me.htm .  I can hardly wait to see the proofs from the session, I know they'll be great!
